Drive your snapper lawn mower to a flat surface, such as a sidewalk or driveway. Press the clutch/brake pedal entirely forward with your left foot to apply the brake and stop mower movement. Tips

• The first two digits of a model number are the cutting width, the third and fourth digits are the engine horsepower. The fifth and sixth digits are the series number. The seventh digit is a letter and is the engine model, followed by the eighth digit, also a letter, for the engine type, and the last letter in the model number refers to engine options.
• Write the lawn mower model number and engine number on your owner’s manual for future reference.
