So yesterday I wanted to play this game in Coop mode with a friend. Was my first time.I installed the game from Steam and ran the DX11 edition. Then I was greeted with Error Code 1.

So after some search I found out that my UPlay-Software was outdated. I was supposed to delete it manually (/Program Files/Ubisoft/ and /Program Files(x86)/Ubisoft/) but it wasn't there. And then reinstall it (binary on their website). It still failed to start.So I needed to go to the Ubisoft folder (see above) and edit the settings of the executables so that they always started with adminstrator rights. Same with the HAWX2 binaries (steamapps/common//. Something like this).Then I was able to start HAWX2 from Steam which left me with a UPlay-Window and no games listed there after logging in. So I had to restart UPlay and was able to start the game at last!Quite a shame what work I had to invest to get it to run it all.But then came the next thing: How to start a coop game?The trick is to go to 'Online' then 'Player Match' which means 'Just play without being ranked'.

Then 'Host Game' and switch the game mode to 'Coop Story'.But then new problems came: I was able to invite another player but he couldn't join ('Game no longer available' or something like that). Again I had to google for this and found a list of ports that my router needs to forward. It was quite the list and a bit of a hassle to add those.
